Healthy Eating! Healthy Week!

During Health week at TEA many activities were organised to help teach our pupils about Health and Nutrition in a fun and educational way.

Some of the events that took place during Health Week were Healthy Chef, Aerobics, Sandwich Bar, Juice Bar, Bleep Test, Sports Day and Walkathon.

 

“Health week was put together to show pupils how to have a better diet – a very good week.” Yasmina Atallah (Yr 6)

“The healthy chef show was fun, enjoyable and helpful. The chef showed us what to eat, why we need to eat it and if it was healthy or not. The sandwich bar was amazing; there were all sorts of vegetables. The fruits were for free! Thanks to Mrs Reid for organising it ”Jassim Dashti (Year 9)

“The show was entertaining and made me laugh a lot. It was a great way to learn about healthy foods at the same time.” Dania Moftah (Year 8)

“The show was amazing. It was enjoyable and we understood the information he gave us. I hope we have more interesting visitors.” Mona Helmy (Year 8)

“The healthy chef show was great it is the best I have seen so far. About health week, it was one of the best weeks in my life and I wish it was every week!” Mustafa Salem (Year 4)

“The healthy chef show was amazing. It was full of energy. The show was very informative as well. The chef told us how to balance our meals and what are the essential things our body requires. We had healthy sandwiches and fruits were distributed. It was an amazing event.” Sandy K (Year 9)
