Mrs Rimmer asked several students if they would be interested in entering the competition. The task was to collect some rubbish or recycled material and make something out of it.

The students were very inventive and came up with soome excellent ideas. Including dresses made of bin liners and chairs made out of bottles.

The projects were submitted and the competition was judged. The English Academy students competed against approximately fourteen other private schools in Kuwait and the standard or work produced was very high.

The Movenpick very kindly invited a groupĀ of our students to visit the hotel to observe all of the projects from other participating schools. We were then given a presentation on recycling which provided the students with information about how important recycling is and what schools and individuals can do to help recycling in Kuwait.
