Schlumberger SEED PC Suite Opens at TEA
Posted: October 6th, 2010The English Academy was admitted into Schlumberger’s Excellence in Educational Development program (SEED) after one of our pupils, Amneh Tarkhan, won the largest nation-wide science fair competition in Kuwait. The SEED admittance and the PC Suite were the reward.
Schlumberger, a global oil services company and a strong advocate of educational excellence, inaugurated the company’s first online educational computer lab in Kuwait at The English Academy connecting students to over 282,000 students from 42 countries and 66,000 Schlumberger employees from 140 different nationalities, essentially creating a forum of learning, discussion, and knowledge transfer.
