Student Council

The student council includes elected representatives from each year group with elections held each year in December. Members of the council attend regular meetings where they put forward student ideas and the outcomes are then fedback to the Year Groups. There are various roles on the council including Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary.

The role of the council includes the organization of annual events including:

• Spirit day for Year 5 to Year 13
• New student barbeque
• Fun Run day activities
• Friendship day
• Whole school trip to Entertainment City

Through organizing events and activities members of the student council gain valuable experience in democracy teamwork, event planning, money management, time management, delegation and a real sense of achievement.
