Examination Centre

The ENGLISH Academy is a registered examination centre for Cambridge International, Pearson Edexcel and AQA examinations. All public examinations — IGCSE, AS, and A-Level — are conducted on the school premises under formal examination conditions.

Examinations Officer

The Examinations Officer at TEA is Mr David Royall. For examination entry queries, timetable information, special consideration requests or results enquiries, please contact Mr Royall directly.

Access Arrangements

Students who require access arrangements — such as additional time or a reader — must be assessed and applications submitted well in advance of examination series. Contact the SENCO for guidance.

Results & Certificates

Examination results are released on the published UK results days. Original certificates are issued by the awarding body and distributed to students once received by the school.

Re-Sits & Re-Marks

Students wishing to request a re-mark or re-sit a component should speak to their subject teacher and the Examinations Officer. Deadlines are strict and fees may apply.

University References

Predicted grades and UCAS references are prepared by subject teachers and the Head of Sixth Form. Students should allow adequate notice when requesting references for university applications.
