All public examinations at TEA are conducted through the following internationally recognised awarding organisations.
TEA is an authorised Pearson Edexcel examination centre. Edexcel qualifications are among the most widely recognised in the world, with specifications aligned to the English national curriculum.
TEA is an approved AQA centre, preparing students for AQA qualifications. AQA is one of the UK's leading awarding bodies, with qualifications recognised by universities across the UK and internationally.

Examination Centre
The ENGLISH Academy is a registered examination centre for Cambridge International, Pearson Edexcel and AQA examinations. All public examinations — IGCSE, AS, and A-Level — are conducted on the school premises under formal examination conditions.
Examinations Officer
The Examinations Officer at TEA is Mr David Royall. For examination entry queries, timetable information, special consideration requests or results enquiries, please contact Mr Royall directly.
Access Arrangements
Students who require access arrangements — such as additional time or a reader — must be assessed and applications submitted well in advance of examination series. Contact the SENCO for guidance.
Results & Certificates
Examination results are released on the published UK results days. Original certificates are issued by the awarding body and distributed to students once received by the school.
Re-Sits & Re-Marks
Students wishing to request a re-mark or re-sit a component should speak to their subject teacher and the Examinations Officer. Deadlines are strict and fees may apply.
University References
Predicted grades and UCAS references are prepared by subject teachers and the Head of Sixth Form. Students should allow adequate notice when requesting references for university applications.
