School Uniform.

Uniform guidance for The ENGLISH Academy students. All students are expected to wear the correct school uniform every day.

Uniform items are available from the Uniform Store on campus during opening hours. Please check sizes carefully using the guides below. Contact the school office for assistance with orders or enquiries.
Uniform Shop Opening Times

Sunday to Thursday

7:00 am – 9:00 am

11:30 am – 2:00 pm

The Uniform Store is closed from 9:00 am to 11:30 am.

Secondary

Years 7–11 Uniform.

Summer Uniform — Girls & Boys

  • Light blue collared shirt with TEA badge
  • Appropriate school tie
  • Navy blue long TEA trousers with trim
  • Simple black belt with discreet buckle, if needed
  • Plain white or dark socks
  • Classic black shoes, with or without laces — no trainers

Winter Uniform — Girls & Boys

  • Light blue collared shirt with TEA badge
  • Appropriate school tie
  • Navy blue long TEA trousers with trim
  • Simple black belt with discreet buckle, if needed
  • Plain white or dark socks

  • Blue and white TEA shorts and t-shirt
  • House colour t-shirt with school emblem (for inter-house competitions)
  • White school shorts with TEA emblem
  • White sports socks
  • Appropriate sports trainers
  • Blue school tracksuit with TEA emblem
  • Students should change into their PE kit at school

Reminders

General Uniform Policy.

  • Students should wear the correct school uniform each day.
  • Shoes should be classic black school shoes; trainers or trainer-style shoes are not permitted with formal uniform.
  • PE kit should be brought to school on PE days and students should change into their PE kit at school.
  • House colour shirts are used for inter-house competitions.
  • A plain dark coat may be worn during cold or poor weather.
